Unfortunately, the recent transmogrification of the New York State Insurance and Banking Departments into the New York State Department of Financial Services has shattered all of this blog's NYS Insurance Department website links. One would think some money could have been found even in New York's austerity budget for someone to point all old NYSID links to their new NYSDFS counterparts. Would that have been so hard?

Thanks for the Link to Regulation 64. I can never find the regulation when I need it.
It's as easy as substituting "dfs.ny.gov/insurance" in the website address for "ins.state.ny.us".
Easy would have been the DFS re-pointing all old links to their new places, but thanks for the tip, Matthew. It works.
Since all old links resolve to a "Not Found" page with a www.dfs.ny.gov/ address, one needs only insert "insurance/" after the "gov/" to get to the desired page.
